Reports are circulating that Dustin “Goldust” Runnels has been released from his current contract with the WWE. All that is known right now is that it stems from an undisclosed incident at the April 24 SmackDown taping in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He had been working behind the scenes since suffering a shoulder injury in December 2010. This comes just days after WWE.com transferred his profile from the Raw Superstars section to the Alumni section.
